My favorite

My favorite thing was being a text pert for room 8. I like being a text pert because I love technology and I love helping people especial Mrs Hood because she is funny to work with. She does get a bit cross when technology goes wrong.  I love being a text pert. My favorite  thing at the moment is making movies.

My favorite athletics event is the 200 meter sprint because I tied with Mac and  I achieved my goal  coming 1,2,3 in a event like athletics  and a came 3 with Mac  and tied 45.5. seconds. 

high jump

I'm gonna win high jump!! I'm gonna win!!!!!!

It's nearly athletics and room 8 is practising high jump. I was running so fast, but my brain sent a signal that said...STOOOOOOOOOOOOP!!!!!!!!!! But I didn't listen to it and I had a try! I am going to try and try to be the best jumper that I can.

Rugby photo competition

Yesterday Mac's mum told room 8 that there was an All Black sporting competition so... we painted our faces and wore black clothes. I was an Argentinian person. The All Blacks said that our picture was fantastic so they want more pictures and they said they would send 2 photographers to take the pictures. I hope room 8 wins the competition. I have to tell you something before I go. Rugby is NZ famous. And one more fact. We are also world champions.

  
By the way. We did win the competition and two All Blacks came to visit Room 8. Awesome!

Gym sports

Yesterday the whole school except for the Kapa Haka people went to a stadium to preform our gym sports. I was in the hip hop group. Our name was the Vardon Hip Hoppers. Our team  came 3rd place the other hip hop team came 2nd place. Just one higher than our place. We trained for fifteen weeks.  

Extreme Kites

There is a book about a Peasant Prince. Room 8 have been reading it. It is a story of  a little boy called Li Cunxin and he had a red kite and he put 3 wishes on it. So in room 8 we have been making kites with paper and ribbons and metal. I chose to colour my kite in red, blue and yellow. I have a dragon with a tail  but some people say that it looks like long hair. These are some of my wishes.

1. For my Dad to be a nurse.
2. To start using electrical cars to help the world pollution.
3. For my writing to be neater.

term two reflection

(It's the old and the new) I mean that term two is nearly gone and term 3 is coming. The best thing that happened to me is the Trashion Show and being a textspert.  The goals that  that I faced were doing things properly and taking things more seriouly. To slow down and set out my work a bit neater. My goal for Term 3 is not to have spelling errors. I am in the decimals and I want to improve  more by being the smartest in the class and writing neater

Trashion Show

The Trashion Show was awesome! The garment are lollies. My group was the liquorice Allsorts. I was the compere who was talking about the garment. I spoke into a microphone. I felt nervous in front of an audience. I did a really good job.

move making

Musuem trip

2 weeks ago room 8 drove to the museum and drove with the mini-bus. It was called the wold of wearable arts. We entered a move theater at the move theater  it was a Power Point room. The stuff  member told us the thing the PowerPoint was talking us.The people at the move theater were making helmets. They said that they had a surprises at the end... The surprise was awesome!!! Our hat started glowing!

I love marmite

FACTS.

1. Marmite is a vegetarian product. It means it has no meat in it.
2. The Christchurch  eathquake damaged the marmite factory. So they had to stop making it.
3. We have been loving marmite for over 100 years.
4. It comes in a bright red jar.

OPINION

1. It is DELICIOUS on crakers. It tastes sour and a bit salty.

In room 8. we have bean doing Me posters and it asks "what will you be when you grow up?"  I want to be a  doctor or a scientist.

Assembly

Room 8's assmbly was so awesome because everyone had a part to say. My mum came to the assembly. My favourite part was the song's and sharing my tent poem.

Camp

  My favourite part was eating the food like the ice-cream and the burgers.

Camp week

Last week the middle team had  camp on our school's field  . It was so fun  because we had lots of activities like free time in the pool, play ground, relays and slip and slide.It was so fun at camp we had over night.It was my first night away from my house.

Two in a row that is so awsome of Wrap free Wednesday! My goal is to have no warps at all.

Rosie's show

I liked when  Rosie tried to play the P.S.P. She smashed it, it was so funny.

Camp

I'm so excited for camp! We're going to stay one night at school! Even the year threes are going. When I was a year three I did not go to camp.
