Last week room 8 did some plays my play was called Robot wars. The characters were Robbie, Qt147, mum, Tina and Carl.

Grass Head

It is fun trimming my grass head into a mohawk not really awesome.

Grass heads

On  Friday room8 made grass heads.We needed a stocking or a sock,yogurt,container,soil,grass seeds and a watering can with water.

We poured the grass seeds in the sock or the socking,then we poured the soil in the sock. We tied the sock 

with a rubber band so to keep the soil in place.I enjoyed doing grass heads, it was a lots of fun I hope I seeing the grass sprouting out of the top of is head .

Making butter

On Monday room 8 made butter. First we got cream milk and poured it in a jar then we put the lid otn hen we shaked the cream. It was fun shaking the jar  and seeing  it.It was fun making butter and eating it.

Welcome Back

I can't believe  it is term 4 its relly exciting to be back at school . Our topic is dairy milk to ice cream. We are going to a farm to learn about cows.What is made from milk? My goal in Athletics is to improve my running. At the end of the term we are going to water world to learn how to  swim well. I want to learn how to do backstroke. I can't wait to do all these kool things..

Tane Mahuta

Tane Mahuta is really tall and big. Room 8

 Production practice is special because it is a big thing to do.I'm a fruit as a fruit I am a strawberry and other people are other are fruit.

Math week 2012

This week it is math week. Everyone in the school is doing it.  I can't wait to buy the bey blade but it is $590 to get it.You have to earm maths dollars when to play games and get the anwsers right.

Wrap free Wednesday

Today is  wrap free Wednesday. In my lunch box, I had only two wrappers and that is good.We need to not use glad wrap in our lunches, because it takes ten to twenty years to break down in the landfill. My goal is to have no wrappers in my lunch box.

Term 3

This term I'm looking froward to cross country because I really want to win


My goal is to listen to the year fours leaders Sarah and Rhys.

yummy cakes and muffins

Look at all those yummy cakes and muffins, don't they look nice.
I wish I can eat one for free.I like all of them .Vardon School is fundraising for the senior camp next year.Yeh Mrs Paraha's cake was judged second.

MY addition

It was very hard to do it  because I had to restart but I did good.
I used doubles to help sollve this problem.
I think I need to do more practice.

Making toast

Last week we made toast. I liked making it because it was tasty. It made our room smell yum!

We wrote about making our own breakfast.

My chicken speech.

My speech was about my two pet chickens.I think I did a great speech because the kids in room8 clapped loudly.I need to improve with speaking as i spoke too quickly.My class thought my speech was funny.I am happy because I got into the room 8 semifinals.

Kindness week

I  felt pretty nice giving people things for kindness day. I felt really happy when people gave me lovely cards in my totetray.

ANZAC day

ANZAC Day is something that we think about.
People that came from eny war.
It was on the 25th April.
The best thing about ANZAC day is ANZAC biscuits.

My Holiday

In the holidays I had a broken leg.
Don't try to get one you can't do anything.
Do you want a broken leg?
I don't think you do.
Well I have one.
I don't like having a broken leg because you can't play games and I wanted to go to Rotorua in the holidays but I couldn't.

Crystal Flowers

Three days ago, we made Crystal Flowers.
We put salt water in the container, then we got two *2 tissues and a knife to make a hole in the top.They were awesome to look at.I we think the petals will grow into beautiful crystals in two weeks time My Crystals flowers will get bigger and will stay on the top of the container.The water in the container will all drain away.

Caves

Last week we went to Waitomo caves.
Have you ever been to Waitomo caves?
I liked Waitomo caves when the glow worms lights were shining.
I liked seeing the stalagmite's in the cave.
